Urgent CDC warning: Coronavirus ‘will hit US significantly;’ ‘plan for ‘disruption’

In a news conference on Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control warned the public that the coronavirus outbreak on American soil is inevitable.
“We are asking the American public to prepare for the expectation that this might be bad,” said CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases Director Dr. Nancy Messonnier, as reported by the New York Times.
“It’s not so much of a question of if this will happen in this country anymore but a question of when this will happen,” Messonnier added. “Ultimately, we expect we will see community spread in this country.”

CDC expects ‘community spread’ of coronavirus, as top official warns disruptions could be ‘severe’

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday warned that it expects the novel coronavirus that has sparked outbreaks around the world to begin spreading at a community level in the United States, as a top official said that disruptions to daily life could be “severe.”
“As we’ve seen from recent countries with community spread, when it has hit those countries, it has moved quite rapidly. We want to make sure the American public is prepared,” Nancy Messonnier, director of CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters.
“As more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder,” she said.

What Happens If You're Critically Ill In China — But Not With Coronavirus

Victor Yu is not one of the more than 2,500 people who the Chinese government says were killed by the coronavirus. The 47-year-old resident of Wuhan, epicenter of the outbreak, died Feb. 19 from complications related to renal carcinoma, a common type of kidney cancer. But his family believes that his untimely death is likely related to the coronavirus outbreak.
"They kept delaying care. I think if he had gotten medical care immediately, his tumor would not have gotten so bad," Yu's niece told NPR in a phone interview. She declined to give her name because China has censured and even detained those critical of how it is handling the outbreak.

Coronavirus update: 80,238 cases, 2,700 deaths, CDC warns Americans to prepare for disruption

“We really want to prepare the American public for the possibility that their lives will be disrupted because of this pandemic,” Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters.

Busting a Myth Buster

So, The world Health Organization wants people to believe that a Virus that lives on surfaces for up to 9 days (that we know of) including people places and things of every content, is not Transmissible Via pets.

I beg to differ, If person "A" has a pet/Companion, that is let outside during a Quarantine to do their Natural functions, and in the course of such, Person "B" walks by and pets, sneezes, touches, "Talks" to or in any way interacts with said Pet/Companion, Or if said Pet/Companion, licks, Touches, walks in spit, or any other body waste or fluids, The levels of risk of Transmission to person "A" is HIGH.

You read my post, then reread it, and ponder what I am saying, Who dropped the Ball on this Myth buster, and I just Busted the Myth buster

essentially you would have to bathe your pet, Outside in a bio hazard suit, The bring them inn immediately, and since this is airborne, we can still premise, Exposure would still be a High risk, just from the wind blowing.

So, As far as this goes, I disagree with the World Health Organization
