8 tested negative for coronavirus in Louisiana, health officials say 
According the the Louisiana Department of Health there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana. 

Health officials took to Twitter to say that 8 people have been tested for the virus and all have come back negative. 

The ability to "turn these tests around very quickly" helps prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Louisiana, officials say.

Dow Dives 1,900 Points, NYSE Halts Trading As Stock Indexes Plummet

Trading on the New York Stock Exchange was halted temporarily Monday after indexes plunged 7% in reaction to Saudi Arabia's shocking oil price cut. The financial market chaos comes amid increasing worries that the coronavirus epidemic will plunge the global economy into recession.

In early trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 1,900 points — more than 19% off its February peak. Stocks also fell sharply in Asia and Europe.

Later in the morning, the U.S. indexes recovered somewhat, with the Dow down nearly 1,600. Both the Dow and the S&P 500 were down about 6%.

Border Authorities Catch 328 Chinese Nationals Illegally Trying to Enter the U.S.

The Washington Examiner reported that at least 328 Chinese nationals who attempted to enter the United States illegally since January have now been caught by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.
This apprehension is part of an increased awareness effort on the border to keep the coronavirus from spreading into America.

Italy quarantines 16 million as US Army halts military and family travel to/from Italy and South Korea

Fifteen northern and central Italian provinces are under quarantine and U.S. Army officials are imposing their own travel restrictions in an effort to stop the ongoing spread of coronavirus.
Around 16 million people in northern and central Italy have been placed in quarantine, the BBC reported Sunday. The U.S. Army Garrison Italy, Caserma Ederle, near the northeastern Italian city of Vicenza has also adopted travel restrictions affecting all personnel coming in and out of the country.
The Italian quarantine order will remain in effect until April 3rd, and people in the affected Italian provinces will have to obtain special permission to travel outside of their restricted areas for the time being.

Washington gov weighing "mandatory measures" to fight coronavirus

Washington Governor Jay Inslee said his state, which has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the U.S., is examining whether "mandatory measures" are required to combat the spread of the deadly virus.
"We are contemplating some next steps, particularly to protect our vulnerable populations and our nursing homes and the like," Inslee, a Democrat, said Sunday on "Face the Nation." "We are looking to determine whether mandatory measures are required."
